Things to do in Rajgir, Bihar

We always want to hang out or have fun with our family or friends, which is also in trend but sometimes a unique thing happens and becomes one of the memorable moments of life. My visit to Rajgir Bihar has also been unique. This time I had been travelling alone I reached Rajgir Via car from Patna. After checking In into Guesthouse of Bihar Tourism and having breakfast, I thought to see Rajgir Kund (Pool). It was really fun to see Rajgir Kund which has 22 kund (Pools) and 52 streams, Out of these bathing in Brahm Kund and Shapt (Seven) streams have special significance. Devotees from abroad also take bath in this, It is believed that skin problems can be cured after taking bath in Brahm kund and Shapt Dhara.
After taking bath, when I came out from Brahm Kund (Pool) I saw colourfull Tangas (Traditional Horse Carts), I spoke to one Tanga person and asked him what he can show me in whole day by his Tanga (Traditional Horse Cart ) Ride because I had only one day to see places of Rajgir. suddenly I noticed one teenager had been listening to my conversation with that Tanga person, I smiled to him and then talked to him, I said " He is from a nearby village and came here to see Mela ( Traditional Fair)" I asked him to join me on Tanga Ride and he got ready to come with me on Tanga ride. Now, we were on our way to Vishwa Shanti Stupa, amidst the lush green paths, the horses started running on the rolling roads, sounds coming out from their throat bell and leg bells were like music.
This type of eco-friendly rides rather than modern rides in a noiseless environment attracts every tourist.
